After graduating from the prestigious Pratt Institute of New York, Debbie attended the Royal Academy of Copenhagen where she developed her personal style. She worked for several years as a design director for Disney, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Universal Studios, and F.A.O. Schwarz until she decided to launch her own collection, moving from traditional canvas to her 3-D medium.

The first product she created was a handbag for her own use. It was so well received that she launched her own purse line in November of 2002 at New York's 5th Avenue Henri Bendels. Since then, she has created custom corporate collectable limited edition handbags for The Tony Awards, Elton John for CAESARS, and The Four Seasons. Her limited edition charitable collections have raised thousands for such organizations as The Avon Foundation, Make-A-Wish, Dress for Success, and many others.

Setting the trend, she has translated her internationally collected gallery Pop artworks into a sophisticated and sassy evening and handbag collections with quite a celebrity following. Her impressive list of clientele includes Jessica Simpson, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Britney Spears, and Renee Zellweger. Her artwork and handbags have also been featured on The Today Show, CNN , CBS, ABC, Extra, E Style, Inside Edition, People Magazine, Lucky, Vive, and Hamptons Magazine.
