If you’re looking to repair a broken or worn piece of jewelry, our jeweler is a highly trained master jeweler with over 40 years of experience. Your precious jewelry never leaves our store, since all repairs are done in house.

With our laser welder, we have the ability to complete jobs not possible previously. Because gemstones such as Tanzanite and Emerald cannot withstand the heat of a traditional repair torch, those types of repairs were not possible unless you removed the stone. Since removing the stone is labor intensive and dangerous to the stone, the laser makes it possible to work in an area no larger in diameter than a hair follicle! The heat only goes exactly where it’s needed and your treasured gemstone remains untouched during the repair.

Swiss timepiece servicing is offered in house by our Roloex trained Swiss watchmaker. We work on most high end Swiss watches including (but not limited to): Rolex, Gucci, Tag-Heuer, Cartier, Movado, Breitling, Rado, Raymond Weil, Corum, Patek Phillipe, Ebel.

We offer insurance appraisals that include a detailed report and a photo of each item. Jewelry purchases from Diamonds Direct in St. Petersburg, FL that are over $1,000 come with a free appraisal. Most insurance companies do not require an appraisal for jewelry that is valued under $1,000.

We can also provide appraisals for estate pieces. The appraisal fee starts at $75.00 per item and requires an appointment.

Our Diamond Buy Back program is quite popular. When you purchase a diamond from Diamonds Direct, we give you what you originally paid for the item toward a new purchase that is at least double the original purchase price.
