Custom Design Process

You want your jewelry to be as unique as you are and, at Diamonds Direct, we understand that more than anyone.

Consultation

We work with you to imagine and craft your dream jewelry piece. Show us any photos or inspirational images you may have. If you don't have any, we can sketch something up for you. We will also discuss metal type and color, finger size (if it's a ring), stone details (shapes, sizes, and colors), scale of item, and if you prefer earth-mined or lab-grown diamonds. We offer CAD scan technology if you need to make a perfect replica of an item (adding a second wedding band to an existing set, for example). So, you can rest assured you'll get the perfect piece.

Modification

Within the next 48 hours, you will receive your CAD presentation, a video of the piece (if applicable), a photo of the item on a rendered model (neck for necklace, hand for ring, etc), and an accurate pricing quote. You are able to request a 3D wax print of your piece so you can understand the lifesize scale of the design.

Approval

After the modification process, you will receive updated CAD drawings to approve. If any of those changes during the modification process come with a price change, you will know before you approve the work. Once you approve your design and confirm that everything is to your liking, we will require a minimum deposit of $450 to process the order and start the creation of the piece.
